My Focus

My primary focus is on directing teams to create or develop big, distributed, and scalable UI/UX — also known as Design Systems. This involves coding, visual design, documentation, and, ultimately, people and organization.

Since I am a designer who codes (or a developer who designs), I frequently connect designers and developers to facilitate more efficient collaboration.

Experience

As a hybrid designer and developer, I have 20 years of experience with pretty much every part (image editing, vector illustration, icon design, logo design and branding, UI/UX design, frontend web development, as well as a bit of backend with PHP, Node.js, etc.) of building digital products. Thanks to my education, I have additional expertise in other creative fields such as typography, print design, video and audio production, and much more.

I love to take on responsibility, and I am well experienced with leading people in different situations — independent projects, permanent positions, during workshops, or in the classes I teach.

However, I can also create entire digital products for you. In such cases, I prefer to work with small and agile teams where I do a bit of everything while keeping up the pace and guiding everyone in the right direction.
